Horizon Campus provides me with the support, resources and facilities that I need in order to fully experience a varied and detailed educational experience. Their great class sizes and dedicated lecturing teams have made a real difference in balancing my work and sporting commitments.
HORIZON CAMPUS IS A HOME ... , Horizon Campus is not just a campus. It is a home for us. We were not born as leaders but horizon made us leaders with her wisdom. As a Horizon Campus student I am fortunate to have lecturers who are easily and consistently accessible and willing to meet with to help us succeed. IT Faculty is the place which made me successful. Lecturers, academic staff and students are very friendly and they work as a bunch of team to become successful professionals in the IT industry.

25th of October 2016, marked a historic day for the Faculty of Science as well as Horizon Campus! Students from Batch 1 Degree and Diploma courses organised an open blood donation programme for the first time at the Campus.

Launch of Postgraduate Diploma in Food Safety, Animal and Plant Hygiene Approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
Following current requirements identified in the food sector to ensure food safety and enhance global food trade, a Postgraduate Diploma in Food Safety, Animal and Plant Hygiene has been developed by the Horizon Campus Malabe in collaboration with the Institute of Food Science & Technology Sri Lanka. The objective of the program is to strengthen the knowledge and attitudes of those engaged in our expanding food industry to be globally competitive in offering their services.
BIT Program Successfully Launched at Horizon Campus
The Bachelor of Information Technology External Degree (BIT) Program of the University of Moratuwa was successfully launched at the Horizon Campus, Malabe, on the 5th of March 2017, amongst a representative gathering of academics, students, parents, and well-wishers. Indeed, it was a milestone for Horizon, teaming up with an esteemed local university for the first time, in the University of Moratuwa. Horizon Campus Successfully Holds First Student Orientation for 2017 for all UGC Degree Programs
The Management, Information Technology, and Education faculties of Horizon Campus held their first student orientation for this year on the 20th of March 2017. A large number of new students already enrolled for the undergraduate degree programs of the three faculties, attended the event. The 2017 undergraduate orientation program was graced by the Chairman of Horizon Group, Mr. Upul Daranagama. Mr. Daranagama stressed the importance of undergraduate education and the role of non-state sector institutions in fulfilling the dreams of thousands of Advanced Level students who do not get an opportunity to enroll in the state university system. HORIZON KOWUL WASANTHAYA 2017
The Student Council of the Horizon Campus celebrated their annual Sinhala & Hindu New Year Festival 2017 titled Horizon Kowul Wasanthaya in flamboyant style on the 29th of April 2017 at our picturesque Campus premises.
The event was planned, organized & managed entirely by the Student Council whilst all students from all the faculties contributed to the various aspects of this magnificent cultural event which displayed professional grade skills and talents of Horizon Students.
Horizon Kowul Wasanthaya was a day filled with joy, happiness and fun where aspects of multicultural harmony and a sense of belonging was celebrated and kindled within the Campus community through a display of traditionally and culturally rich customs, activities and events.

Flood Relief Force conducted by the Staff and Student Council of Horizon Campus successfully handed over all donations to ITN Sri Lanka collection point on 1st June 2017.
We wish to extend our special thanks to the Horizon Campus academic & non-academic staff, students, members of our NatBeo Club, parents and all other contributors who made this relief effort a success.

SLANSHEI Cricket Challenge 2017was held on the 1st of July 2017 at the Horizon Cricket Grounds between 8 Private Campuses & Institutes in Sri Lanka. Saegis Campus Became champions beating Horizon Campus in the Finals. Man of the Tournament was Indika Massalage(Saegis Campus), Best Batsman was Malshan Mendis(Saegis Campus) & Best Bowler was K.M.J Sanjeewa (Horizon Campus).
Horizon Campus Holds a Successful University of London Open Day.
Horizon Campus, Malabe held its open day for the students who wished to study the LL.B. programme offered by the University of London International Programmes, on the 14th of July 2017. Mr.Chris Jenney, Head of Teaching institutions & Patricia McKellar, Associate Director of the Laws programme of the University of London was in attendance. Senior management of the Horizon Campus, faculty staff, parents and students who had already registered for the programme or was interested in registering were given an insight into the programme by the dignitaries of the University. Students who had successfully obtained a scholarship from Horizon Campus were also awarded their scholarship certificate on the day.Teaching for the current academic year will commence during the latter part of August 2017.
Horizon Campus launches island-wide Regional Centre network
Horizon Campus declared open two of the eight Regional Study Centres of our island-wide branch network to offer Diploma and Degree programs and qualifications to a wider student population who live outside Colombo.
Students will now have the luxury of completing some of our accredited Degree programs by studying closer to their homes. Horizon Campus’ Kalutara Regional Centre was declared open by Horizon Group Chairman, Mr. Upul Daranagama and the Kalutara Regional Director, Dr. Mudith Mewan on Thursday 20th July 2017 and the Kandy Regional Centre was opened on Friday 21st July 2017 also by Horizon Group Chairman, Mr. Upul Daranagama and the Kandy Regional Director, Dr. Maheshini Mawalagedara.
The other six Regional Centres of Horizon Campus will be launched in Matara, Kurunegala, Badulla, Anuradhapura, Ratnapura and Negombo during the months of July and August 2017.
All Regional Centers include spacious Classrooms, Lecture theatres, Auditoriums, Biology, Chemistry & Physics Labs, Computer Labs, Libraries, Student Recreational areas and other contemporary amenities
