Nature Beyond the Horizon, the Environment Society of Horizon Campus, Malabe, successfully organised its very first guest lecture on the 25th of April, 2017 at the Horizon Campus Auditorium. Guest Lecturer, Mr. Ashan Thudugala, founder of Save Fishing Cat Conservation project and co-founder of Small Cat Advocacy and Research organisation, conducted the lecture on “Small Wild Cats of the World and Sri Lanka, to provide awareness of community based conservation that could help save these species from local extinction, and in preparation of the upcoming Field Workshop on Small Wild Cat awareness. Donations collected from the audience were donated to Small Wild Cat Conservation through Mr. Ashan Thudugala.
