Once again, a number final year students of the Faculty of Information Technology at the Horizon Campus have reflected their classroom knowledge coupled with various skills gained at the campus to successfully complete their compulsory 6-months Internships with several cutting-edge technological and renowned Sri Lankan companies.
These students have utilized their technical know-how and other soft skills such as communication collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity as well as organizational, negotiation and problem skills that they have acquired in the classrooms. Some of the companies that they have completed their Internships include the following:

Incubate Labs: A Silicon Valley based Google certified Technology Company in Sri Lanka and a web, mobile and technology partner for global businesses providing all the digital marketing services including Big Data and AI technology solutions.
Vcube Network Solutions: 100% VOIP/PABX Solutions provider with Network Passive & Integration as well as Network Security and Data Center solutions.
Ceyleon Software Company: A leading web, mobile and software development company in Sri Lanka.
Simato Vas Solution: A Total Business Solutions Provider on Mobile and Fixed Telecommunications, new age content solutions, web development and Value Added Services (VAS) with worldwide networks and alliances.
SperaLabs: Software Development Company providing dedicated services to clients across the globe on Bespoke Software Development, Business Process Automation, IOT and Industrial Automation, Mobile App Development, Cloud Based Solutions and AI Solutions.

What is most interesting is that more than 95% of these students already started to work for the same or similar tech companies even before completing their degrees. All these students will attend their graduation ceremony planned to be held in Feb.2021.
