
Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and Horizon Campus, the nation’s most recognized higher education institute entered into a historic partnership on the 4th of September 2019. Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing is the national body for professional marketing in Sri Lanka. The memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between the two parties, sealing this partnership grants each other’s students and staff a number of benefits. Mr. Suranjith Swaris, President of SLIM and Mr. Upul Dharanagama, Chairman, Horizon Campus signed the MOU on behalf of the respective organizations. Chief Executive Officer of SLIM, Mr. Sanath Senanayake, Ms. Nanduni Dahanayaka, Manager Education of SLIM and other senior officials participated in this historic occasion. Among the benefits of this agreement for Horizon Campus would be that the graduates of the Bachelor of Management Honours in Marketing degree of the Horizon Campus will be granted attractive exemptions for professional post-graduate diploma programmes offered by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. The exemptions granted to Horizon Campus Bachelor of Management Honours in Marketing graduates are identical to the exemptions granted for graduates of Honours degrees in marketing conferred by national and international universities. Horizon Campus marketing graduates now have the opportunity of completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (PGDM), a sought-after and highly recognized professional post-graduate qualification offered by SLIM, by taking only the final stage of the three-stage programme.
