She also ascribed that the academically excellent and value-added curriculum delivered by Horizon Campus allows law students to develop a wide berth of skills that makes them versatile and highly employable in the job market. “I feel a mixed emotion of pride and a sense of humbleness after my stint at Horizon Campus. Pride at my scores at the CertHE in Common Law examination 2017 conducted by the University of London and humbleness that every single of my tutors, who have achieved so much more, found the time and spared no pains in guiding me through my first year. Apart from the academic satisfaction at Horizon Campus, I have acquired the ability to surmount any obstacle and reach out stronger. Moreover, the atmosphere of sharing and caring and the sense of belonging to one large family lends that additional impetus to draw out the best in me. I am excited at the prospect of completing my legal studies with distinction at Horizon”.
Commenting on his accomplishment, Rehan Perera said, ” When I chose to enroll in the University of London International Programs for LLB (Hons) at Horizon Campus, I didn’t quite know what to expect. I didn’t know if I would be good at it or if I had the stamina to read and retain all the information, be analytical and produce good results. However, with the support of my lecturers who provided me with the guidance and motivation that I needed to find my way during this journey, I began to find that this course was not designed for students who just would learn and memorize information and reproduce it on paper. Instead, the curriculum was designed and delivered with such ingenuity that it allowed students to think for themselves, be creative and bold, and express their own unique points of view regarding complex legal situations. I believe it is such factors that has given me the opportunity to develop my skills and understanding of Law and achieve the results that I did. In addition, Students were given the necessary freedoms and their own place in campus by the management, which made it so much easier to focus on the challenges of the degree”
Applauding their high achievers Dr. Ruwan Perera, Acting Vice Chancellor and Dean for International Programs at Horizon Campus said “It is gratifying to see our students compete in international exams and excel in them by receiving the excellent results from the University of London .We are extremely proud of our students who have achieved overall pass rates of over 88% over the 3 years.
