The first batch of BSc IT & Moratuwa – BIT students of Horizon Campus commenced training/employment at HCL Technologies on its In School Grad Skilling & Training programme, the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. The students selected through a rigorous examination process, will undergo training for a 3 month period with the opportunity to join HCL on FTE basis. The students not only get a training period at a prestigious IT firm, but also obtain other benefits such as a free laptop for their use, allowances towards the payment of their tuition fees as well as a monthly salary once they commence FTE.
