The Horizon campus library, located on the first floor of the KCM building, houses an up-to-date collection of books, periodicals and separate e-resource access facilities. Currently, it’s particularly rich in resources for information technology, management, law, education, science, engineering and technology. The library plays an important role in higher education, supporting the three main pillars of campus, i.e., teaching, learning, and research. The library's main goal is ‘To enhance the information literacy of students and staff by providing necessary facilities to develop their ability to access information effectively and efficiently.
The Horizon Campus Library is open to Horizon students and staff as follows
Monday-Thursday: 8.00am-6.00pm
Saturday: 8.00am-6.00pm
Friday & Sunday: 8.00am-4.30pm
The library is closed on Poya days and other special holidays as indicated in the Horizon Campus Calendar.
Full time and part time undergraduates, postgraduate students academic and non-adamic staff members are allowed to use both reference and lending facilities.
These can be accessed via the LMS: full-text electronic journals, electronic books, databases, reference resources. Library users can access electronic collections anytime while they are on campus, at home or in office.
